City & Guilds Introductory Welding Course (Level 1)
The course involves intensive practical training for one welding discipline. The training takes place over five days.
Who should attend?
The Beginners Welding is an introductory course that will teach you the foundation skills needed to start welding training.
If you have little or no experience and would like to start at the beginning, equally, it is an excellent programme to develop the skills to support a hobby or side project that you may have.

This training program provides a practical introduction to a chosen welding process, complemented by introductory theoretical training.
Welding processes to choose from include MIG/MAG, TIG, and MMA.
This predominantly hands-on course is also beneficial for individuals seeking to rejuvenate their welding abilities and enhance their current skills.
This course enables access onto The City & Guilds Intermediate Welding Course and potential to gain an industry recognised Welder qualification to BS 4872-1 (certification fee applies) in your chosen welding process at an introductory level.
This is a one week training course covering an introduction to the theoretical and practical aspects of Welding (Subject to availability and selection of a Welding process).
All candidates that successfully complete the course will be provided with a certificate of attendance issued by City & Guilds.
