City & Guilds Intermediate Welding Course (Level 2)

The qualifications at Level 2 (Intermediate) are designed for those wishing to build on introductory skills acquired at Level 1.

If you have worked or currently work in the industry and are looking to refresh your skills, progress or change employer, this qualification will give you the evidence you need to show you are capable of increasing your job prospects.

Aim of the course

The course is designed to enable candidates to demonstrate welding skills typically found in industry and associated underpinning knowledge to a level that will enable them to complete welded joints in standard welding positions and prepare them for undertaking qualifications at NVQ level 2 and at level 3.
