Jonathan (Jake) Neale: Senior Instructor
‘Jake’ Neale is The Skills Academy’s highly personable Senior Instructor with over 27 years of experience in heavy engineering, particularly in pipe welding and fitting across power stations, oil and gas, and the water industry. Known for his proactive approach and commitment to excellence, Jake brings a wealth of hands-on and managerial experience. He holds qualifications in TIG, MMA, MAG, and FCAW welding, this is further reinforced by achieving CSWIP Welding instructor & Examiner certification coupled with certifications in safety and management. Jake's previous roles include workshop supervisor at Oil & Gas Systems and multi-disciplined coded welder at JES Group, where he was also involved in apprentice training. His extensive industry knowledge and dedication to developing others make him a calm, collected, organised and disciplined influence in The Skills Academy team and a driving force in its ongoing success.
